Personal Statement

My name is Anna DeFazio, and I am looking for a school to challenge myself academically and athletically. I have aspirations of becoming a pediatric physician, and I am looking for the very best school to set me up for a successful future in such a difficult career path, as well as compete and contribute to the track and field team. Track has taught me so much about life, and myself. It has pushed me to extents that I didn’t know I could reach. It has made me stronger mentally, and physically, than I ever thought I could be. It has guided me on the path that made the person I am today, and will continue to lead me to the person I am striving to become.  I am so excited for my future, for my career, and athletics, and everything else to come. I can’t wait to find the school that will fill my greatest dreams.
