2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Julia Kane and I am a rising senior at Westmont Hilltop High School. I am looking for a smaller college in the Northeast with a strong wildlife biology or environmental science program. My most important quality for myself is teamwork and unity. In the past, I have been on teams with good players who had bad attitudes, so my main focus is being encouraging and kind, and making sure other people feel welcomed.
I have been competing in track since 9th grade. Every year I have been invited to compete at Districts, and last year I went to States. I was honored to have been awarded Most Dedicated Player for the track team last year.
Aside from track, academics are very important to me. I am currently ranked 11th in my grade, and I have a GPA of 99.4. I am in National Honor Society and try to take as many honors and AP classes as I can.
