My goals for the future are to become part of a women's college team. I am a good candidate because I am willing to put in the work to make myself better. When I begin to strive, I do not stop working to make myself the best I can be at that time. I started off my 2017 season only jumping 13'6" consistently. I put in a lot of work through out the season and stayed after practice each day to end my season with best of 15'8". I was seeded last in the district 9 track meet with a seed of 15'0", and I ended the meet with a 6th place finish on the medal stand because I was determined to walk out with a medal. During my Junior 2018 season, my goal was to break a school record. I began the season jumping 31’0” in the triple jump. Our school record was held at 33’2”. As the season was winding down, I worked harder and harder to reach my goal. Finally, I jumped a jump of 34’7” and crushed our school’s record. I also began running hurdles in 2018, qualifying for districts in my second meet ever running them. I am different from other recruits in my character because I am open to new events and new strategies to make myself better. In athletics I am different because I am not only a track athlete, but I compete in rodeo as well. Rodeo helps me with my flexibility and the will to do anything I put my mind to. In academics, I am one of the top students in my class. I manage to focus on both my track career and academic career successfully and maintain a 3.9 GPA and scoring points at every meet in my events. Thank you for reviewing my profile, I would love to be a part of your team!
