Relatively new to running, I am a middle distance runner who has achieved solid results doing track as a part-time sport for just 2 years. That's because I had been a year-round soccer player for high level club teams. Despite this and an injury that shortened my 2023 outdoor season, I still qualified for the conference championship meet in the 400, 800 and 1600.
With the 2023-24 indoor and outdoor seasons (my 11th grade year), I will only be focusing on track. I love every single training session and simply cannot get enough of this sport. I am very excited to see what I can accomplish next. I also expect to do XC in Fall 2024 and would consider doing that and longer distances in college too.
One thing that sets me apart is my ability to happily balance "everything" while thriving academically, athletically, and socially. As a person and athlete, I am famous for working hard, seeking challenges, and being a great friend. I will bring all of that to help my team be successful in everything we do.
I am extremely excited for what lies ahead as I continue to push my limits, try new distances, and set new PRs for the rest of high school and beyond.
