I started track & field when I was 11 years old. When I started my athletic journey, I knew this was my passion. After only one season I knew this is what I wanted to do all of my high school career as well as college. I have always strived to get better, cut down my times, and be proud of my work.
During my season my coaches always applauded my drive and work ethic. While at practice I always pushed myself to work on my technique and learn from my fellow athletes. As a hurdles runner having good coordination and technique was and always will be a must. I am always striving to be a better athlete in and out of practice by watching videos of my races and seeing how I can improve. Though I am very proud of what I have done in my past seasons, my goal is to continually improve.
In the classroom I am always working hard to uphold my GPA and stay involved with my school. Currently I am a part of my school's Student Council along with the Knoch dance and drill team. I have been noted with honors this first semester of the 22-23' school year.
I want to attend a college or university that will push me academically and as a track & field athlete. I plan to get my degree in secondary education to be able to teach young minds how to grow and flourish. I hope to be someone my peers can look up to and make my supportive parents proud.
