Hi! My name is Caitlyn Kovatch and I'm apart of the class of 2025. I did gymnastics for 11 years and I grew up around that sport. As I grew up and entered high school, I was opened to more opportunities and wanted to get involved. I was a multi-sport athlete during most of freshman year of high school. I learned the ups and downs. I ended my journey of gymnastics because I wanted to do track and school to be my main focus and not have other distractions. When I started track, it felt like home and it became my new "happy place". I was happy to go there and I always had the drive to get better even when I felt like giving up. This sport has made me gain something that gymnastics didn't. I never thought that I would be so dead set on something until I started competing in this sport. I want to compete at a higher level to prove to myself that. I can do anything I put my mind to. I want to be the best I can be with the help of coaches and teammates. I am focused, determined, kind, funny, trustworthy, and a team player to all. I. do very good in school and its my main priority. I keep my grades all above a 90 and I plan on doing that in the future. I want to be a student-athlete in college and juggle both sports and academics. This has now become a dream of mine to participate and compete in the collegiate level of track and field.
