I have been running track since I was in 7th grade and I had a passion for the sport very quickly. Once I realized how many opportunities track could bring me, I made it my number one priority. Many wouldn't picture me as a sprinter because I am 5 foot 8 inches and weigh about 150 pounds. I have been very blessed to have a gift and to be as successful as I have been. In 2010, I qualified for the state meet as a freshman in the 4x100MR and 200M. My team was also the District 10 Region 1 Champions and I was on the District 10 Region 1 1st team for the 4x100MR and District 10 Region 1 2nd team for the 200M. In 2011, we became Region 1 Champions for the 3rd year in a row, and I was on the District 10 Region 1 2nd team for the 200M and 4x100MR. I have always dreamed of continuing my track career in college and even after college. I want to major in Physical Therapy and attend a medium- large sized school. I am looking forward to helping my high school team achieve much more this next season and contribute to another team in the future. I am determined and motivated to be a successful person not only in track, but in life too.
