Callie Chicoine '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Callie Chicoine. I've been in many sports throughout my athletic career ,but I always found hurdling in track and field to be my favorite. The reason I love hurdles is because I can reach accomplishments individually which gives me confidence to know that I can reach my own goals. Other sports I participate in to keep active are soccer and volleyball with the school. I don't do any winter sports before track, so to keep in shape I go to the Athletic Club to lift and run 4 days a week. My goals for track every season are high because I always want to keep pushing myself to be faster than the person in front of me. Then hopefully break some school records while I'm at it. I love making new friends especially new ones at meets. My role-model is my aunt who was a hurdling stud in high school. I look forward to hurdling for the next few years and eventually succeed to another level like hurdling in college.
