One collegiate goal of mine is to make it to NCAA national championships in both cross country and track and field. I understand my times in both sports are not superb, but I am still working on it. I can promise I will work hard. I would say that I am a good candidate for your team in that I will continue to work. In other words, I am very persistent. I have a tendency to do more than what is asked in order to reach my goals and aspirations. There is really nothing that is too much for me to do. If you ask me to do something I will do it. I know what I need to be a better runner, so I am confident that if you train me hard I can get the job done. Also, I think what may make me different from others is that I have made a 4.38 cumulative GPA taking both honors and AP. I have only taken one AP throughout my high school career so far, with the highest GPA you can reach a 5.0. The rest of my core classes I have taken honors, with the highest GPA being 4.5. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope this will give you a glimpse of my character as a student and an athlete.
