Loren Sloan '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Loren Sloan and I am a senior at Fairview High School in Fairview, Tennessee. My running career began my freshman year when I tried cross country and track for the first time. While I have continued to run cross country all 4 years of high school, I have really fallen in love with track & field, competing and excelling in many different track events over the last 3 years. I have mainly devoted myself to 300m hurdles, 400m dash, and pentathlon, all of which I have set the Fairview High School record. During my junior year, our 4x800 team won first place at the TSSAA State Championship Meet, and I have competed and placed in State all 3 years since freshman season. Throughout my track career I have competed in every event except javelin and pole vault. I love everything about Track & Field and want to continue competing at the collegiate level while studying interior architecture and business. I am excited to push myself and perform at the collegiate level with my coaches and team!
