Personal Statement
Track has provided me the outlet I need for developing my goal-oriented personality. Once I set my mind to accomplishing a goal, I will work hard to achieve that goal to the best of my ability. Through track Ihave learned to push myself, and I have taught myself the true meaning of focus. Being the only hurdler on my varsity track team and working out alone has taught me to trust my abilities and allowed me to grow not only athletically, but mentally.
I am just as dedicated and driven in academics as I am in athletics, and this shows through my class ranking; I am currently ranked 1. I have maintained the top ranking through MS and both years of HS. While many different fields of study interest me right now, I currently most interested in psychology.
And just to know me better... I am an avid animal lover. And I am pretty sure animals love me as much as I love them!
