Samantha Aguilar '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Samantha Aguilar, I am currently a junior at Edinburg North High in South Texas. My aspiration is to run competitively at the collegiate level. I have been running track since middle school and have pushed myself since then to get better. I run competitively with my school track team and with my city's summer track team. My freshman year of high school I ran varsity track, this year I hit a 5:30 1600 m run. My sophomore year of high school I ran a 2:30 800m run and a 61sec 400m run. This year I will be competing in field events as well such as high jump and long jump and also the 300m hurdles run. I also run cross country for my school team, I currently run a 12:60 2 mile run and a 19:90 5k run.
