Bella (Isabella) Morgan '15 Recruiting Profile

As a senior I'll be a third year returning member on the Varsity Cross Country and Track team. In Track I've competed in the 200m, 400m, 800m, and the  4x200m, 4x400m relay team and long jump. Also I'll be a first year member on the Varsity Volleyball team.

My sophomore year in Track I placed 3rd at District in the 800m and 4th in the 4x200m relay team, advancing to Area. At Area I placed  5th in the 800m and as a team we came in 7th in the 4x200m relay not advancing. This past year in Cross Country I qualified as an individual for Regionals, at District coming in 6th place running a 14:35. As a team we placed 3rd also advancing to Regionals. At Regionals I placed 64 out of 175 runners, running a new P.R. of 13:08. In Track this year I’m a district champ in the 800m running a 2:35 and placed 4th in the 400m advancing to Area. In Area I came in 5th in the 400m and 4th advancing to Regionals in the 800m. At Regionals I was ranked to place 11th out of 16 runners. I finished 5th out of 15, not advancing to State but gaining a new P.R. of a 2:31. At school my sophomore year I received "Most Improved Athlete". Junior year i received "Female Runner of the Year" in Cross Country and Track.

School work is just as important to me as sports. I've been on the A/B honor roll two years in a row and I've received Academic Excellence for the past two years. I received the "G Award" sophomore year for academic average, citizenship, attendance, and achievement. As a senior I am  taking college courses this year through Tyler Junior College.

I am very committed to everything I do. My goal is to run track at a college where student athletes can seek excellence in both academics and athletics. I would like to be a coach and an English teacher, so I would like to pursue a college that offers this degree and gives the feed back needed.
