Personal Statement
I, Kelsey Crawford, am known as “Speedy Princess” or an Iron Horse athlete. I maintain a 3.95 GPA (24 ACT (Math 29 & Science 27) )while playing 3 to 4 varsity sports. I am a 2 time TAPPS 4A State Champion Shot Putter and 4x100 Relay, a 2 time state qualifier in 100M , a State qualifier in Long Jump and a 3 time Girls Team State Champion in Track & Field. I am the recipient of the 2011 TAPPS 4A Academic All State Track & Field and the Sader Impact Award. I am a three year varsity post basketball player. TAPPS 4A Basketball State Final Four and 2nd place team. Recipient of the Crusader Fighting Heart Award recognized for being the most aggressive, leading re-bounder/blocks/steals Post basketball player. I am a two year varsity 3rd base or center field, and a All District Softball player.
I want to pursue playing competitive athletics and am open to exploring opportunities at all division levels. I am interested in universities where I can obtain a degree in a medical field (premed, physical therapy) and or accounting. I am a very strong academic athlete that is committed. I have unbelievable drive and energy and am know to continuously raise the bar daily in everything I do. I always finish what I start to the best of my abilities, striving for excellence on and off the field or court and classroom. I believe if better is possible then my best wasn’t good enough. I can make the impossible happen and want to make an immediate impact on a team and school.
