Hi, my name is Sophie and I can tell you that I am very different from your ordinary track athlete. What makes me different is wanting to be better in every category of being a good athlete. Of course I aim to be the fastest and put time in effort in so I can achieve that goal, but also devoting my personal time to do it. Many athletes wait to workout or run, but if I want something I make personal sacrifices, such as my own time. My goal is be recruited and run at a collegiate level of track. If I want to live my life to the fullest I want to run and be know as someone great. Over the summer I have been running a lot. I actually did a camp which was me and the whole varsity football team. During the 2 months on training I decreased my 400 time by a few seconds. My time now is 1:04.
