My name is Chelsey Jackson and I am an upcoming Senior at Little Elm High School in Little Elm, Texas. I am a dedicated student and a determined athlete. My goal is to select a college with a vigorous 4 year marketing program and to compete in Women's Track and Field at a collegiate level.
I have been a hurdler since seventh grade. As a Sophomore I advanced with my relay team to state. As a Junior I advanced to area with a personal best of 46.9 in the 300 hurdles.
After many weeks on the track during the summer I had a prosperous Junior year. My times for the 300 hurdles continued to improve until it was at a consistent time. During my Junior season I was asked again to compete on the varsity relay teams specifically the mile relay and the 400 meter relay. Both relays, the 400 meter relay and the mile relay, I was in qualified for Texas relays. Over the course of the season my split in the mile relay improved by 1 second each week.
My grades are in order. Currently I am ranked in the top ten percent. My main attributes are my aspiration to win, leadership, and work ethic. I am a person of strong intellect and will with good character.
My track goals are to continue to build and and upon last season. I am determined to drop my times not just in the hurdles but in any event I run by competing in summer track programs and working on my hurdling and running technique.
As a student athlete a great education and competition in college are my goals in Track and Field.
