Hello, My name is Catelyn Johnston. Im a senior at Loraine High. I have been pole vaulting since my freshman year, my father instisted I give it a try but we never thought I'd be great at it! I have particiapated in Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. I have recieved numerous awards in all sports. My junior year i recieved 6-Man Coaches Association 1st Team All-Region Basketball and and 1st Team All district. My senior year I recieved All-District Offensive MVP, Selected for the All-Star Team, 1st Team All-Big Country and 1st Team Acadimic All-State. In track I have made it to Regionals every yearin Pole Vault since I began as a Freshman. My freshman year I placed 8th out of 36 girls. My sophmore year I placed 6th and my Junior year I was 4th, I got a PR at regionals last year and missed going to state by missing at my First attempt at 9 foot. My senior year I plan on going to State and medaling! I have gotten 10 this yer and plan on getting higher. I have dreamed of playing basketball or pole vaulting at college and I hope all my hard work and dedication pays off!
