Hi, thank you for taking the time to view my profile my name is Miryam Mendoza and I am a distance runner at Pasadena Memorial Highschool, in Pasadena TX and I run both cross country and track. I aspire to have a profession in the medical field and to able to run competitively at the next level. Ever since I was younger I've always looked up to my dad since he was also a runner, and thanks to him my passion for the sport began to grow. I am focused, high-spirited, hardworking, and always lending a hand to not only my team but to others as well.  I know what a big role academics play in the recruitment process that why I have the same mindset for when it comes to running which is to always keep improving and never give up until I know I have given it my all!
