Personal Statement
My name is Saylor Stevenson. I am a Junior at Rockwall High School. I have been running cross country and track since 8th grade, and it became my passion when I joined a club track team 2 summers ago. I want to pursue my dream to run in college, and will do everything I can to make that happen. I am dependable, hard working, and will never give up on my future goals. I am always on time to practice, and will give maximum effort from the start to finish. I love running because of the encouraging environment. My coaches and teammates have taught me how to be independent and confident even when the days are hard. This journey will be challenging, but I’m willing to do everything it takes to be a better runner.
