2021 Highlights Personal Statement
As a student athlete I am motivated by the unknown. Obstacles motivate me to be an overcomer in my sport. I like to be pushed by my competition, because it brings out the best of my abilities that I sometimes don’t know I have. Maintaining a positive attitude and mindset has become an important role in my routine of pole vault. In the past I have had mental blocks, but overcame those obstacles by keeping my head held high with a positive urge of determination.
