Personal Statement

Hello there, My name is Alexis Garza, I am currently a Junior at Tomball Memorial High School. I am dedicated to running long-distance track and cross country; My goal is to compete at the college level where I can continue exercising my grit and hard-working attitude. Recently this XC Fall season I qualified for state and I continue working hard to beat my biggest competition, myself. Like any cross country runner, I absolutely love running in the rain and mud along with a big pack of my teammates or rather what I like to call “family”. I am very personable, friendly, outgoing, and strong. When I say I'm strong I mean I'm a mighty but tiny athlete, an engaging and clever student in the classroom, and a self-assured confident leader.
