Personal Statement
My name is Cryslan Tucker. I am currently a Junior at White Oak High School in Texas. I'm a long distance runner. I love cross country and enjoy running the 3200m and 1600m in track. Throughout my high-school career I have also ran on the 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay, as well as running the open 800m. I prefer the longer distances as I have a lot of endurance.
My current 1600m PR is 5:18 and 3200m is 11:14.
I have been a serious runner since I was in 7th grade and I know that I still have plenty or room for improvement. Connecting with a Coach that can train and challenge me on and off the track as well as a teammates that can push me to be my best is my goal in finding the right athletic program.
Academically I am searching for a college of excellence in which I can obtain an undergraduate degree in biology and/or chemistry that can prepare me for dental school.
