I have a passion for running and am willing to put in the work it takes to accomplish my goals. I want to further my running career in college and continue to improve. I have been running on the Mountain View High School varsity Cross Country and Track team since i was a Sophomore, but started running when i was in 7th grade. During the season i train 6 days a week after school. Two of those days i have workouts which are usually 800, 1000, 400 and Mile repeats, tempos, fartleks, etc. I also to 2-3 morning runs a week which puts me at about 45-50 miles a week.
I try to have a positive attitude and be a good example to those around me. I try my best to be encouraging to my teammates, and help them accomplish their goals as well. I am very interested in pursuing a career in the Medical field. I am willing to work hard to get the schooling that is required. I am an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which gives me many opportunities to serve those around me. I am a member of National Honors Society, Hope Squad, and Interact of Orem Service Club. I will also be serving as a Student Body Officer and ill be over the various service projects that the school participates in.
