Ashlin Goble '18 Recruiting Profile

It has always been a dream of mine to run at the collegiate level. I am very passionate for Cross Country with Track close behind. My collegiate goal in Cross Country is to get into the eighteen minutes consistently in the 5K then push to break into the seventeens. In Track my goal is to get all of my event times faster as well, but overall, I want to push myself to higher limits to show that anyone who works hard enough can reach their aspirations.

Being from a small school and community has given me opportunities to participate in multiple sports (cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track) and various activities. Through my education and being raised on a farm, I have learned to have a strong work ethic, attitude, and dedication in everything I do. This transferred over to my academics where I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and received many awards for my work.  Due to an injury last year, my times were not ideal, but I am healthy again and ready to work harder than ever before.   

If accepted to run on the next level, I am committed to push myself and others around me to be our best selves, bring a positive attitude and open mind, and have a desire to be successful to represent my school well. If you contact any of my current coaches, you will find that I am very coachable and strive to do whatever is asked of me. I have been successful in the past and am looking forward to what the future has in store.
