Personal Statement

I have been running cross country and track since 8th grade and it has become my passion. I have been to State Championship meets 7 times and recently achieved All-State in the 1600 meter run. I am looking forward to continuing my running career at the collegiate level and I am prepared for the rigor of being a college student-athlete because I am a hard worker and I am dedicated to my team and the classroom. I would be a great fit for your team because I get along well with others and I am eager to learn how to better my running abilities. I am also a capable leader as I am a 4-time captain. I am looking for a school that meets my academic needs and that has coaches who could better me as an athlete and all around person.
