Personal Statement
I began track and field my sophomore year. After running track the distance coach pulled me out into cross country for my senior year. For my first year of both these sports I achieved Varsity. My junior year of track I had injured my foot at the beginning of the season and ended my season. I pushed through maintenance work, conditioned and even got a job. My senior year of cross country I made it to districts as an alternate. I was still excited I had made it that far even with the injury from the spring. This year I planned on pursuing a goal to go to districts for track an possibly state. Though this time an awful pandemic has interrupted my senior season. I am still working at home, pushing through to be the best I can once this season continues. I am optimistic, outgoing, positive, a reliable teammate and always looking for a challenge on the field and in the classroom. I have taken 2 AP classes and now taking dual credits as a Running Start student keeping my GPA close to a 4.0.
