Maisy Webb '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to ultimately improve to higher levels of track running--a goal that can be realized through collegiate running. I have worked countless hours to achieve my goals both academically and athletically, and it makes me very excited to have the challenge of running in college as my next goal to work toward. I am a team leader, and as a sophomore was elected to be a team captain my junior year (despite the team tradition of senior captains).  I will also be a team captain for track and cross country in my upcoming senior year. I am very coachable and respond well to criticism. I blend well with the teams I am on, and I love the competitive aspect of training with teammates, so we can all push ourselves farther and improve more. Academically, I attend a high school with an infamously rigorous academic program, and I also take self-selected advanced classes. My hard work has gotten me accepted into the National Honor Society, and recognized as Student of the Month in my High School. I hope to extend my track career into the college stage, where I will be able to improve toward faster times and general skill on the track.
