400m Hurdles- USA...Personal Statement
I’m a competitor, both on the track and in the classroom (3.83 GPA). After playing competitive soccer my whole life, I discovered track my sophomore year and fell in love with the sport. When I began to run hurdles, I could feel a shift in my heart. I knew that I was where I was supposed to be. I competed for the first time at Nationals in Eugene Oregon in both the 100m and 400m hurdles. I absolutely loved the experience. It is my dream to compete on a high-performing track and field team in college. I believe that I have not even come close to peaking yet – I’m just getting started.
