I want to compete and get better.
I'm a good candidate for your team for many reasons. I love track, I'm disciplined and don't cut corners in practice. I have potential to be a heptathlete given quality performance in multiple events from sprints to distance and hurdles to long jump.
As a freshman I went to state in the 4x400 relay and it was an incredible experience. This past season I was the 4A district champion in the 400m race and I was seeded to make it to state again. It didn’t to go as well as I would have liked at regionals and I didn’t end up making it to state. Because of this I have been working really hard by doing cross country and soon to be on a track club in the winter to hopefully improve for the coming season. Track is my passion and I am always striving to get better at what I love to do.
My goals for college are to attend a school with a variety of programs to help me discover my major. I'm unclear on a course of study, because I like all my classes in high school. Plus, I get good grades in tough courses like AP English and Calculus.
Personally, I hope people would say I'm a good friend and I have a good sense of humor. I enjoy spending time with my family and eating cereal. My biggest goal is to be a college track athlete.
