Kelsey Zuspan '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kelsey Zuspan and I plan on graduating in the 2013 class at Wahama high school in Mason, WV. I am 5 foot 5 inches and weigh 125 pounds. The 2011 season is the first track season Wahama has had for 30 years. It is also my first year to ever run track. All though the school track is just a parking lot, I am a state Champion in both the 100 and 200 meter dash, and 4th in the 400 meter run. In the 2012 track year, I PR'd many times and broke a few more records. Halfway through the season I was injured with tendonitits in my hips, though I still finished 13th in the state. I've always wanted to play basketball in college but when track happened at our school I found it more entertaining. Basketball in college would still be great but I think track is where I belong. We are a single A school so I am active and excel in most all girls sports, volleyball,track, basketball, and I am active in band. My grades are very important to me. I carry a 3.8 GPA and I am in the National Honor Society. When I go to college I wish to major in Veterinary medicine. I am not worried about size or type of college I attend as long as I can achieve my degree, I will be ecstatic.My family makes to much for me to qualify for FAFSA though we dont make enough to send me to college. I have not yet, but I will be applying for as many scholarships as I possibly can.
