My name is Madelyne Harding. I am an energetic, passionate, determined, and highly motivated individual.
Academically, I have maintained high honors throughout my high school years and am a member of the National Honor Society. I am very active in my school as well as my community by participating in Student Council, math team, Youth to Youth, Leos, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Future Problem Solvers. I have received multiple citizenship awards because of this.
As for my running ability, I feel I am truly blessed. Currently, I hold the school record in the 200 m dash, 400 m dash along with the 3200 meter relay and 1600 meter relay. I have been voted MVP the past three years, am the highest point earner and was voted team captain. I have competed at the state level in track for the past three years, proudly bringing home six state medals. This year, I was state runner up in the 400 meter dash. I am not only a sprinter, but have distance and jumping ability. I have also competed at the state level in cross country twice.
I am looking for a college where I can take my passion for learning and my desire of running where I will be pushed and guided to the next level of success.
