Grace Berglund '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches!

My name is Grace (Gracie) Berglund.  I'm currently a junior at Eau Claire Memorial High School, and my goal is to be recruited to run track in college.  As a track athlete, my passion for sprinting is driven by spending countless early morning and late night hours on the track, pushing my limits, and striving for excellence.  I am dedicated, disciplined, and continuously trying to achieve better times and splits, while improving my nutrition and overall athletic performance.

I've had the privilege of competing 2 years so far as a high school track athlete, with the most exciting achievement being that my relay team qualified for the finals in the D1 Women's WI State Champship in the 4x100m.  Not only did we qualify as a team, we also broke our high school record for fastest 4x100m in the school's history.  Being part of this team made me realize that track not only requires individual excellence, but also the ability to support and motivate my teammates.

I am also dedicated as a student and I recognize the importance of balancing academics and sports. I have a strong academic record and am able to manage my time well and excel in both areas.

I am excited to take my track career to the next level - this coming year I plan on working 1 on 1 with a track coach, as well as competing in meets over the winter and spring.  My goal is to make huge improvements in myself and my times.  Thank you so much for checking out my profile, and I look forward to hearing from you!
