Jasmine Elliott '20 Recruiting Profile

In college, my goal is to get a wonderful education, while also continuing to branch out in trying new things.  I want to be apart of the Cross Country team, drama, and Student Government.  These are all passions of mine; I love to help people and be apart of something that’s bigger than me.  I believe that I’m a solid candidate for the Cross Country team because I’ve had lots of leadership experience being in student council, I am dedicated and caring-not to mention-I love long-distance running.  I strongly believe that a prerequisite for participating in a sport should be that the person enjoys what they are doing and what the sport brings to their life.  Being on a team allows chances for leadership- no matter the age.  Leading others to a greater purpose and having them realize their full potential fulfills me.  I am a good student in school.  I’m very conscientious and I care a great deal about the quality of my work.  I am a firm believer in that if you work hard, everything else will come later.  Hard work pays off.
