My collegiate goals will be to study in Ultra Sound Tech and hopefully get my radiology degree.
Throwing discus has always been a big passion of mine. My Mom threw discus in college and I would be honored to follow in her footsteps. I have been throwing for about 6 years. I remember being in elementary school and going to the discus rings and watching my older brother and watching my mom help him work on throwing discus and always helping him with technique. I am always willing to try new things and work to be better. I want to reach my full potential as a Discus thrower. I have always wanted to get a College scholarship for throwing discus. The love I have for this sport is like no other. I always want to be out throwing no matter the weather. I am a two-time state qualifier and in my second year, I placed 9th in the state. In academics, I admit, I wasn't driven to do them. I thought to put it off at the last minute. But my Junior and Senior years have taught me that I need to start getting my life together so that I can have the future I need and want. I realize now that I should have tried harder in my early years of high school. I am willing to be coached and learn new techniques so that I can grow my ability.
