Personal Statement

I want to run in college because I want to better myself as a runner. I really enjoy running and competing and I want to be able to continue that passion past high school. I have run both cross country and track since my sixth grade year and enjoy the bond and close relationship I build with my team each season.  I am always a hard worker and I like to think that I am easily coachable. In high school I have been involved in many extracurricular activites, so I am well prepared for a busy schedule. I am good at balancing my school with other activities and I always make sure that school comes first.  I work extremely hard to keep up good grades as that is something that has always been important to me.
