The first time I ever touched a volleyball, I was in the third grade. In that moment I stepped onto the court, I fell in love. I have been playing volleyball for Providence since 7th grade, and I have been playing for Deep South Volleyball Club since the 6th grade. I made the Varsity team as a Freshman and that year we were area champions, super regional champions, and state runner up in Class 4A. This past year (Sophomore), we were area champions and runner up in both super regional and state (4A).
My goal for my team is to make it to the state championship again, but this time we win! As a 6-rotation Outside Hitter, I love every part of volleyball, especially defense and serve receive. When I am on the court, it is one of my priorities to always be talking, whether I am calling seams in serve receive or encouraging my teammates. I always want to be the loudest. I want to do everything to the best of my abilities - athletically and academically, and I know that hours of studying and training pay off. It is a huge goal of mine to continue to contribute my energy and talent to a college team and do it well.
