Personal Statement
The highlight of my high school playing career has been being able to play in the State Tournament for two consecutive years. I feel I became a better player by listening to my coaches and older teammates when given advice. I am very coachable and have a mindset for hard work and dedication to the task at hand. If given the opportunity to play for the right coaches I believe I can develop into a very valuable asset for any college program.
I was recently selected to become a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout High School, is very important to me, proving you can be not only be an athlete but a scholar as well.
Throughout my high school volleyball career, I've been overcoming a difficult task as my father was diagnosed with PTSD and during my freshman year he lost his memory and had to medically retire. Although it has been very difficult, God has blessed my family in giving my family the ability to pay for my college tuition through the VA (Veterans Affairs).
