Hi coaches! I’m a 18 year old Native American Outside Hitter attending Dishchii’bikoh High School as a Junior. I have had so much love for this sport ever since I was little and have been playing for over 9 years, not only is this just a sport but also showed me so much more. The main thing I always tell myself during a game or practice is to always continue playing and pushing no matter how hard it may get. Success comes by effort, you must put it in. I encourage my teammates the same way, I try my best to always be there for them no matter what. Keeping my team in a positive mindset is always important because we must stay together as one, yes stay serious when needed but also have fun! :) When a team is down I always tell them it’s going to be okay, it’s done and over with and to continue moving forward. This sport has taught me so much. It showed me the importance of teamwork, self confidence, mindset control, and most importantly it introduced me to new people! My love for this sport will continue to grow and grow as I also grow. I will always push through and whatever happens will happen, this process is in God’s hands, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to improve on myself as a Volleyball player. I hope to continue this sport on the next level as it means a lot to me, Thank you once again for the possible opportunity to enhance my skills.
