Hey! I'm Sheridan Heard and I just finished my freshman year at Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Phoenix, Arizona. I first found my passion for volleyball in 2015, when I was only 9 years old. I played recreational volleyball for 3 years before my first club season that started in 2019. I played as a right-side hitter that first year, but ever since I've been setting for middle school, high school, and travel club teams.
Just like on the court, I'm a hard worker in school, receiving straight A's for as long as I can remember. I am an all honors student as well. I'll be taking the first AP course available to me next school year; AP World History. As for my future goals, it is my dream to play volleyball in college, especially at the University of Texas at Austin. Their program is amazing and I look up to everyone on the team! In college, I'd want to study creative writing and film. My biggest career goal is to become a screenwriter and be able to write and put out a movie of my own.
