Personal Statement

I’ve always been a power player, but working to become more graceful, fluid, and efficient. I am known for my easy going personality, dedication, and fierce loyalty to my squad. As a student-athlete at the next level, my hope is to find a great academic match for success in the classroom, and to find a supportive team culture at the highest level of competition possible.

During the 2021-22 varsity and club seasons, I focused on proper nutrition, agility, and strength training, dropping over 45 lbs. and building lean muscle. With extra hours on the court, in the weight room, and in the classroom, my game improved greatly and I maintained a 4.0 GPA. A goal of mine was to finish the club season as a six-rotation player, and I was proud to achieve that at Nationals. The additional athletic training and focus on my education definitely paid off, as I received 1st Team All-League honors and 1st Team 6A All-Academic honors during my 2022 varsity season. I also participate in Track & Field, and received 1st Team All-League honors for shot put and discus in 2022. I was presented with the 2022 New Athlete of the Year Award for Track & Field.

In my free time, I enjoy road trips to see family in Oregon, ziplines, amusement parks, music, gaming, drawing, and caring for animals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
