Personal Statement

My goal is to play for a top NCAA Division 1 program as a leader and an impact player. I am a six rotation Outside Hitter for my High School and Club Teams and a Libero on the USA Youth National Team. This summer I had the opportunity to represent the USA at the 18U Continental Championship in San Jose, Costa Rica. Playing internationally, earning a Silver Medal and a bid to the 18U World Championship in 2015 was the highlight of my volleyball career so far. My future plans are to play both Indoor and Beach Volleyball through the High Performance Program with USA Volleyball. My long term goal is to become an Olympic Libero, and hope to play Libero at the highest level in college.

I am a natural leader and hold myself to the highest standards in every aspect of my life. I am a dedicated student and have always maintained straight A's. My competitive spirit and drive are apparent in everything that I do. I am responsible, hardworking, loyal and always encourage my friends and teammates. Community service is also an important area in my life, I have been a member of National Charity League for the past three years dedicating 35-50 hours of community service and league hours each year.

I am looking for a college with both academic and athletic excellence, so that I can pursue a successful career when I graduate and help my team win a NCAA Championship! I believe that I can accomplish any goal that I set for myself. I am well organized and have great time management skills which allow me to balance academics, athletics, community service as well as leisure time. I am looking forward to continued success in both High School and Club Volleyball and hope to find a College that is a great fit for me.
