Hey coaches! I'd like to start off by telling you about how I got to where I am today. I started volleyball in seventh grade so about five years ago and I instantly feel in love with the sport! I started 13's at Spiral Volleyball and continued there till 14's. For 15's year however I strained my patellar tendon so I couldn't play the whole season. But with lots of physical therapy I bounced back straight away. I began my 16's club season at EVJ and was the happiest I'd ever been in volleyball! Despite having a quite a few set backs this season like breaking my finger and of course Covid, I felt that I got exponentially better in volleyball not just physically but mentally. As of now my third year of Varsity school volleyball at Desert Vista has started and I'm quite confident in our team and our ability. I will be getting highlights up from school volleyball very soon so you can really see my full potential!
More about my academic background; I started out school crying every night because I hated it and didn't like doing homework at all. My parents had to sit down next to me to make sure I did it every night. But once I got to middle school I definitely got way more serious about time management and getting good grades. Starting seventh grade I was told I would be in a grade above math class. I've struggled quite a bit in math but I didn't want to just give up. As of now I'm taking senior math or pre-calculus and I plan on continuing my education to help special needs children, whether that be me teaching them or being a psychologist specifically for them.
I feel I would be a great addition to your team because of my determination, positivity, and compassion. The biggest thing I want to do in life is just help people and I feel that would benefit greatly on your team. I don't ever give up even when things get hard and I want to finish with a smile on my face! Thank you so much for your time and I hope to hear from you!
