Elizabeth Orobiyi '23 Recruiting Profile

Since I was little, I had always looked up to my cousins, who constantly juggled volleyball and school. I saw the strength and dedication; it inspired me to want to be like them in the future. So once they had finally made it to play in college in front of family, friends, and the nation, I understood that volleyball is what I wanted a part of my life as well. My coaches had always seen me as a leader and a magnate that my teammates could not play without throughout my years of playing. What makes me different from others is my gratitude for everything I have and that I understand that everything happens for a reason.  When it comes to academics, I've never been the type to be ok with anything lower than a B since kindergarten. I always take academics seriously since I have come from a family of successful college graduates. I cannot wait for the day that I can show these things to you.
