Personal Statement
Talofa/hello! I am Gloria Moye, the starting Middle for both my club and school Girls Volleyball teams in Arizona. I am a proud team member of AZ Epic Volleyball 17 Elite and the Varsity Girls Volleyball team at Shadow Ridge High School. I will graduate in the Class of 2022. I currently have a 4.192 GPA and have consistently earned the Principal's List Award each semester since my Freshman year, by earning over a 4.0 GPA. In 7th grade, I tried out and did not make the school team but I did not give up on the game I love. I played on the city recreation team, attended camps, practiced hard and in my 8th grade year I made the team at Sunset Hills Elementary School. I am a determined player on and off the court in the sense that when I start something, I try my hardest to finish it to the best of my abilities. I work hard in ensuring that I understand everything that is needed of me by my coaches and teammates. I keep a positive and coachable attitude towards my coaches, teammates, and mentors to improve myself in the sport that I love. My dream is to continue my passion of playing volleyball at the collegiate level, while earning my degree in the medical field. With continued hard work and determination to better my craft, I am excited to see what my future holds for me. Faafetai lava/thank you very much for your time and consideration.
