Hello, my name is Emerson Traweek and I am a Junior at Shiloh Christian School. I am starting my 7th year of club volleyball which includes three years in north Dallas Texas, one year at Madfrog and two years at Victory Volleyball. The last 4 years I've played at Ozark Juniors in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In my early years of volleyball, I had the opportunity to play setter and middle but ultimately excelled as a pin hitter, all on 1's teams. My freshman year of high school, I earned a spot on varsity as an outside. I lettered on varsity both freshman and sophomore year and earned player of the game multiple times.
I have been around sports my entire life and started playing volleyball when I was 8 years old. I approach the game of volleyball the same way I do academics, striving for excellence and discipline both on the court and in the classroom. I have a passion for volleyball because it provides an opportunity each point to do better and get better. My strengths are leadership on and off the court, working hard on every play, and encouraging my teammates in every aspect. I look forward to my college education and plan to pursue a degree in kinesiology or education.
