2018 Highlights
2017 HighlightsI began playing volleyball in the 7th grade. I had no experience at the time and wanted to see if I liked it. I immediately fell in love with the sport. I continued playing volleyball and my love for it grew and grew. I started playing club for Central Arkansas Volleyball after my 8th grade season ended and I also played club after my 9th grade season ended for Fatchmo. My 9th grade year I traveled and practiced with the varsity team while playing for the 9th grade team. I gained a lot of knowledge working with the older girls and experiencing varsity sports.
My current career plan is to obtain an Early Education degree with an emphasis on dyslexia tutoring.
My specific skills include blocking, hitting, and passing. I mostly play middle blocker, but also outside and right side. My serve is constantly improving and I feel that is one of my strengths. This year I will continue to play with the Flames, which is a homeschool team in Central Arkansas. The Flames play locally and travel to do tourneys in other states during school season. The Flames have some of the most talented coaches and players I have ever had the pleasure to play with. The coaching I have had with the Flames is why I feel confident to play any spot on the court if I need to. I expect to have a great season with a great team.
