I was fortunate to have an early start playing volleyball in the first grade at the Edmond, Oklahoma YMCA. My love for the sport has steadily increased over the years. I have enjoyed playing school volleyball, however it has been club volleyball that has impressed upon me the need for a strong work ethic. This ethic includes playing to the best of my ability, cheering and supporting teammates, and utilizing my leadership skills to support my team and coach. Volleyball has taught me many important life lessons. I understand that volleyball is a mental sport and how a team responds to setbacks can determine the outcome of the game. I feel that I have benefited and grown from playing up on club volleyball teams. Currently, I am playing up two years as a fourteen-year-old on Little Rock Juniors 16-1 National.
I have been blessed to enjoy success in multiple sports. Although volleyball is my passion, I also enjoy playing basketball and competing in track events such as shot put and discus. Excelling in multiple sports has enhanced my volleyball technique and growth. I have been honored to be selected to attend the Delta Region High Performance Camps in 2017 and 2018, was named Miss Volleyball, Best Setter and Best Passer at the 2018 University of Arkansas Little Rock Van Compton Volleyball Camp, and was named Best Overall Attacker and MVP at the 2018 University of Central Arkansas Volleyball Camp. My goal as a student athlete is to play college volleyball while studying pre-law or history, to prepare me for acceptance to law school.
