Personal Statement
When I attend college, I would like to major in Law, Psychology, or Communications. There are many reasons why I would be a great asset to your college. I am a hard working student athlete who has maintained a 3.75 to 4.0 GPA my entire academic career. Not only that, but I also believe in helping the less fortunate. One organization that I am a part of is the Arkansas Commitment. This is an organization that allows African American students like me to prepare for college. In that organization, we also help our community by doing things like toy drives for kids who can’t afford toys. Another club that I am a member of is Beta Club. Beta Club considers a student's academic achievements and their character before allowing them in. During the pandemic, I started a business called “Storytime with Kennedi” where I read bedtime stories to little kids over Zoom. At the moment I am currently playing for volleyball for the 501 volley’s Regional Black team. I have been told that I am very coachable by every coach that I have played for in any sport. This is because I am a great listener, a hard worker, and I always apply corrections.
