Tanner Nott '21 Recruiting Profile

I was first introduced to volleyball along with a variety of other sports in second grade. Volleyball quickly stood out to me and became my favorite sport. As I continued to play throughout the years, my love for volleyball solidified when I began to understand both the mental and physical aspects to the game. Playing sand in the offseason has strengthened my communication skills and overall physical agility on the indoor court. Because I started at such a young age, I have held many different roles on my teams throughout the years. From being the least experienced player to being team captain, I have learned the true value of teamwork and appreciate every player’s role on the court. 

As I enter my freshman year in high school, my primary goal is to excel both on and off the court. I have a solid four year academic plan including honors and AP classes and expect to rise to the challenge of balancing a rigorous course schedule alongside a passionate commitment to both my club and high school volleyball teams. In looking ahead to college, I hope to find a school with a strong athletic and academic history.
