I started playing volleyball in 6th grade when I went to a clinic for fun. Little did I know I would fall in love with the sport and want to play it at the collegiate level. I love this sport because of how competitive it is, and how fast pace it goes. Since I started playing volleyball I have been team captain on every team, because of my leadership skills, hard work and determination on the court. Since playing at the power league level my game has elevated even more.
Through, high school I have also done many things that shape who I am as a leader on the court. I have lead multiple worship teams at my church, leader of Christian Club at my public high school, I have played softball for 11 years which I feel has also helps me as an athlete. I am currently in ASB (Leadership/government), and I have always taken honors class with a over 4.0 GPA. I've also completed many community service projects throughout my 7 years in girl scouts, hundreds of hours of community service in National Junior Honor Society, and now on my own in high school by volunteering at my church and school. All of my extra curricular activities have given me a lot of experience with different types of people, coaches, teammates, and has taught me how to work hard in order to accomplish my goals.
I am looking forward to continuing to learn and grow in volleyball through both club and school, and I am very excited to see where it might take me in college and shape me as a person for the rest of my life.
